Brisbane Equine Assisted Therapy is fully certified through the Equine Psychotherapy Institute (EPI) and offers private and group sessions tailored to individual needs. Our programs range from proactive skill-based approaches, such as our Horse Wisdom course, through to individual psychotherapy based on EPI and Gestalt principles of change. Set in an idyllic location within the small suburb of Moorina QLD, we are able to provide quiet and private surroundings whilst remaining accessible. Our rolling 10-acre property is just 10 minutes from the Bruce Highway and provides services to clients from the Sunshine Coast through to Brisbane CBD.
Heather is an Equine Psychotherapy Institute model trained and certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning Practitioner. Heather is also the Queensland trainer for the EPI institute and offers intensive training in the EPI psychotherapy model for mental health professionals and individuals who want to train as Equine-assisted learning practitioners.
Working with horses provides a unique approach to addressing therapeutic or personal development goals. You do not need to have a horse background or any previous horse knowledge.
We offer Equine Assisted Therapy and also room based Psychotherapy at our centre in Moorina. Just 10 minutes from the Bruce Highway, close to Morayfield and Caboolture and 1 hour from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane CBD.
